DESIGNED like roofing tiles, the versatile iron sheets have paved way for new home-builders to have that tile-look for their houses, without spending a lot of money. The iron sheets have a unique design and cover a bigger space compared to tiles. When used on houses in an estate, they provide a distinctive beauty that no one will resist. They also save on timber.

For the time being, the versatile iron sheets are made in gauges of 28, 26 and 24.

James Acilu, the assistant sales manager at Uganda Baati, says the iron sheets are available in pre-painted zinc-coated steel.

“Their cost is lower than that of tiles on top of being lighter. One can opt for the polyvinyl di-flouride paint-coating that has a 15-year fade-free warranty,” Acilu explained.

“All this goes to mark out versatile iron sheets as a classy, durable and beautiful product that is ideal for the most discerning users.”

Apart from the versatile iron sheets, Uganda Baati has the COVERMAX, zincal iron sheets, lion and rhino brand galvanised iron sheets and RESINCOT.

They are provided in all gauges, but bigger sizes are usually provided on order.
