Orient Bank has introduced Internet and SMS (short message) banking service that will be provided for free.
“Once a customer has signed up for SMS or Internet banking, he/she will be able to access account balance, latest transactions and useful information such as exchange rates and interest rates.
We have brought banking to your finger tips,†the general manager, Shamsher Khemani, explained.
‘‘Internet and SMS banking is the first phase of products to be launched from a number of exciting new offers, which the bank is developing for roll-out during the next few months. Internet and SMS banking fit within our tradition of using technology to help customers manage their financial affairs,†Khemani said.
