EDITOR— The views expressed by Peter Obbo published in your article “Tororo Red Cross Volunteers disgruntled†were his personal ones and not representative of all the Tororo volunteers.
The views of the rest of the volunteers are contained in the branch and youth reports presented at the annual general meeting. I also wish to clarify on Obbo’s claims about the death and birth registration. There is no such programme in the Uganda Red Cross Society in Tororo.
Your reporter should have made consultations with the branch management for accurate information before submitting news on our activities.
