IT is your birthday or anniversary and you have received a bunch of the most beautiful flowers imaginable. You show them off, take pictures of them and wish they would last forever. As soon as you get them, you are already wishing there was a way you could make them last longer. Well, there is! An Aspirin!

Instead of throwing away those expired aspirins, you can use them to make your flowers last longer. Get a clean and spacious flower vase, fill it halfway with water and sprinkle a crashed aspirin into the water. Dissolve it in the water if you can. After this, place your lovely flowers in the vase, making sure they are not too squeezed in. The flowers also need breathing space to survive.

You should be able to enjoy the beauties for an extra week. So, who said there is no medicine for flowers?
