IN harmony with their preseason guarantee to screen over 1000 live matches, MultiChoice has served up a mouth-watering five-course meal for soccer fans starting tomorrow.
This was revealed by general manager, Charles Hamya who added that the pay-channel’s menu will feature the top three Premiership giants Arsenal, Manchester United and Liverpool.
“We promised fans an action-packed soccer calendar and we’ll stay true to our word,†Hamya said.
Liverpool fans will have the first taste of MultiChoice’s offerings when they watch the Anfield outfit engage Toulouse in the first leg UEFA Champions League qualifier on SS3.
The match, to be shown at 5:30pm, will come six hours before Arsenal encounters Sparta Prague in another hotly-anticipated European qualifier live on ESPN.
MultiChoice is scheduled to screen the return legs in a fortnight’s time but Hamya disclosed that the first leg action should prove a delicious appetizer to Arsenal fans ahead of the Gunners’ Premiership showdown with Blackburn over the weekend.
“That won’t be the only Premiership attraction though. Manchester United fans should also tune in for the explosive derby against Man City on Sunday, which shall be exclusive.
“This will on top of the Italian Super Cup, the Berlusconi trophy, the Spanish Super Cup, the French Ligue 1, the Portuguese Super Liga and the MTN Champions League,†Hamya remarked.
