FDC's Besigye is up to no good!

EDITOR—I don’t understand why Dr. Kizza Besigye was lambasting the Democratic Party. If his argument was that the DP is collaborating with the government to cause suffering to the common man, I could understand his anguish.

But if the logic behind his verbal attack against the DP is to win popular support for the FDC candidate in the re-run of MP elections for Kalungu East, I am afraid he might be disappointed by the outcome of the ballot.
I am not a DP apologist but I feel the intention of the FDC boss is to sway the potential voters in this by-election to shun the DP candidate, the ever flamboyant Fred Mbidde Mukasa in favour of the FDC candidate.
This kind of politics is not going to help us. We should have a credible agenda that is sellable and conceivable by the electorate rather than resorting to mudslinging each other.
