MIND-teasing tasks, heightened back-stabbing, friction among the housemates. That has been the just-ended week in the Big Brother house for you. It has been hectic for the housemates; in fact an eye opener, considering they had slim knowledge about their continent, in line with the week’s theme, Africa Alive.

Now we can conclude that Big Brother has given them a perfect initiation into mother Africa – the folktales, the country profiles, the African gala theatre, name it.
But the week beginning Monday promises more drama than we have seen in the previous two of their stay in the luxurious house.

And since it is on Monday night that each housemate will nominate two housemates for possible eviction, there is just enough for the eyes and ears.
South Africa’s Lerato and Meryl (Namibia) have over the last four days ganged up against the house head, Ofunneka.

They have insinuated that the Nigerian’s black herbal soap is voodoo. Lerato told Big Brother that it smells and looks dodgy and that Ofunneka too sometimes behaves like a witch. As if that is not enough, the two housemates accuse her of dictating to them since.

This makes it clear that these two loud mouths will most likely nominate Ofunneka. But since she is the head, she has the powers to save herself, and instead replace herself with one of the two, especially Lerato.

But this is not good for us in Uganda. Our housemate Maureen is friends with Ofunneka. The two gang-ups might decide to take it out on her for liking their enemy, much as she has not vexed anyone in the house.

Lerato did not like Maureen in the first place. So you can be sure to count her nomination against our girl.

And since Meryl has been romantic with Ghana’s Kwaku, who exudes sly interest in Maureen, a second addition on our nomination tally sheet has already been secured. So we have to pray that two others get more than two nominations.

But we are likely to see Maureen up for possible eviction because Zimbabwe’s Bertha could also nominate her since Maureen seems to outdo her in terms of talent, yet Bertha thinks she is smart.

However, many are likely to nominate Lerato and Ofunneka, but we have to count Ofunneka out of the equation since she is able to save herself.

All in all, we might end up seeing two girls up for possible eviction since the guys have not been so involved in rows. Tanzania’s Richard and Bertha might nominate each other since they were involved in some nasty exchange on Tuesday.

Richard might also nominate Kenya’s Jeff, since he thinks he was a dictator when he was house head.

Malawi’s Code and Angola’s Tatiana might not get any nominations. Justice (Botswana) and Maxwell (Zambia) might nominate each other over their feud.
In a nutshell, all the guys might be safe.
I see Lerato trying to take her romance with Maxwell to the next level before she is evicted.
