Man on trial mentally fit Kampala Newton Amutuhairwe, the man accused of attempting to murder his sister is mentally fit to face trial, court heard yesterday. State prosecutor Jane Musementa told court that the medical report proved Amutuhairwe of Bukoto, Gerere zone Nakawa Division, is not mentally deranged. Amutuhairwe allegedly attempted to cause the death of Milly Ahabwe by hitting her with a metal pestle. She broke her arm and lost an eye.
