CRISTAL Rock has won a tender to construct a $250,000 (about sh445m) sports complex at the Uganda Christian University (ucu), Mukono, writes Joel Ogwang.
Vincent Mugaba, the university’s spokesman, said UCU was gearing up for the 2007 inter-university games.
He said the first phase would comprise a track and field, volleyball courts and a provision for indoor games.
“Planting of grass on the court has started. It (the complex) should be ready by the December when the games kick off,†Mugaba said in an interview.
