TALKING of powerful businessmen in town, Imran Yunus, a leading Japanese cars mogul, who also owns a fleet of businesses across town, has ventured into the hotel business.

Snoops tell us that Imran recently acquired the luxurious Dolphin Suites in Bugolobi, from rally-ace and businessman Riyaz Kurji, at a whooping $2.5m. Imran is the man behind the success of the Nakawa-based YUASA Motors Inland Car Depot, which he recently sold off.

The snoops say Imran has already embarked on a massive refurbishment of the suites to turn them into one of the most sought after luxury suites/apartments in town. Apparently, Imran is working in partnership with one Salim, the owner of Master Electronics on Bombo Road.
