I commend Cindy Magara for a job well done. One Sunday, as I watched Africa Magic, which is popular for Nigerian movies, i landed on a Ugandan movie entitled fate which is directed by Cindy. First, its theme rotated around a typical Ugandan society today. It is about Kate, a working lady in her 30s who ends up in the arms of Ken after being pushed by her mother to get married.
She settles with him not knowing that he was a mere gold digger.
He ends up robbing her of her money, pride and love and finally infecting her with HIV although she learns to live happily with the disease with consolation from her son. The characters Cindy chose demonstrate that Ugandans can express themselves very well.
