JINJA - The Uganda Muslim Youth Assembly and the Uganda Muslim Women Vision have given assisted the mother who gave birth to five babies on December 15. The items included a six-inch mattress, five pairs of bed sheets, five towels and blankets, nappies and insecticide- treated mosquito nets. They were handed over to Dorothy Namunana by Imam Kasozi, the national vice-chairman of the youth assembly. Kasozi also gave Namunana sh200,000. “Islam tells us to support those in need. This is our duty and we get blessings from such a gesture. We should not wait for people from distant areas to do what we can afford,†he said.
