CENTENARY Rural Development Bank (CERUDEB) has installed Point of Sale terminals in Kampala to allow clients buy goods using Automated Teller Machine (ATM) cards, the bank’s marketing and business development manager has said.

Sylvia Zizinga said, “We have set up 19 points in Kampala and 41 more will be installed soon. We are testing their efficiency using internal customers and shall open them to the public immediately.”

During an interview recently in Kampala, Zizinga said more than 60 points would be installed in supermarkets and shops in Kampala, Entebbe and Mukono.

“They operate 24 hours to allow customers shop any time using Centecards (ATM cards),” she said.
“We are taking services nearer to the people to reduce long distances they commute to our branches,” Zizinga said.
