Enterprise Uganda has formed a partnership with Barclays, Centenary, dfcu and Standard Chartered banks to provide business development services to the banks’ clients.

“One proven avenue for loan portfolio growth is getting existing clients expand their businesses,” the executive director of Enterprise Uganda, Charles Ocici, said.

He said the four banks would impress upon their clients the benefits of accessing Enterprise’s non-financial services that help enterprises grow.

Ocici said he was optimistic other financial institutions would follow.

He said Enterprise is ready to make arrangements with other banks to ensure that opportunities for complementing financial services with business development are not denied any bank client.
