UPDF operation code-named ‘Stop it’ recently launched against the LRA rebels has registered successes in this dry season, the army’s 5th Division publicist has said.
Lt. Deo Akiiki said a notorious LRA captain, Okello Smart and his second in-command, Lt. Oloya, were killed near River Agago on Friday.

MOYO district education office (DEO) is demanding sh15m from the district for psycho-social counselling of primary teachers on alcohol use.
Michael Mali, the DEO, was on Friday presenting a draft budget for 2006/7 financial year in Moyo Multi-Purpose training centre.
