Life Ministry Uganda (LMU) new national director Lazarus Sseruyange has described his new post as a blessing, reports Elvina Nawaguna.
“If you see a tortoise on a wall, know that somebody placed it there,” Sseruyange said as he described himself in his maiden speech.
Peter and Elizabeth Asiimwe, who had been the national directors for the last 10 years, handed over the instruments of power to Lazarus and Lois Sseruyange on Sunday in a joyful ceremony at Hotel Equatoria, Kampala.
The incoming couple has been the principle of Nairobi Institute of Theology for the last 18 years.
LMU is part of the campus crusade for christ, a worldwide organisation operating in over 150 countries spreading the gospel. Present was Archbishop henry Luke orombi.
