HASSAN Musulo, one of Jinja district’s best five pupils in last year’s PLE, wants to join the medical profession like his father, Issa Musulo, a doctor in Pakistan.

“My parents have greatly inspired me and I want to be a doctor like my father. I will put more emphasis on science subjects to achieve my dream,” the 13-year-old boy said
Musulo, who scored aggregate five at Buwenge Parents Primary School, said he was surprised when he first heard the news of his performance on radio.

“I was so happy but surprised because although I always performed well in class, I thought mathematics would let me down,” he said.

He said his dedication to Allah and intensive revision helped him succeed. Musulo hopes to join King’s College Budo.

He commended his mother Sirina Nabirye, a business woman in Jinja town and the school administration and staff, saying they had helped him a lot.
