Kampala city should not be ruled by politicians but by professionals, the katikkiro, Dan Muliika has advised.
“Kampala city no longer has an architectural plan, it is just full of buildings, but a plan has to be implemented. That is why we need professional leaders,†Muliika said.
He was on Friday meeting mayoral candidate Pastor Peter Sematimba at Bulange, Mengo.
He handed over a Buganda Kingdom certificate worth sh500,000 to Sematimba.
Muliika asked the public to support the kingdom fund by buying certificates and to participate in other development programmes.
Sematimba pledged a close relationship with Buganda Kingdom.
He promised to train the youth to be more innovative, hardworking and united.
