When Ndyanabo (Winkle Rutamirika) loses his banking job, and then gets involved in a fatal accident that claimed his wife, leaving him bedridden in hospital, his unpalatable mother Farazia, senile elder brother Reverand (Chris Muhirwe) and rude elder sister Sikola, camp in hospital to attend to him. But his former manager (Enoth Matsiko) and friends; business dealer Hubert (Abel Karitundu), Dr. Dan (Desha Kaikai), lay out strategic plans to benefit from the sick man – Ndyanabo. While the only way to Ndyanabo’s riches is through his only beautiful daughter, Doreen Nyungu Ya Maawe, the presence of rude and rigid Sikola creates a serious obstacle. Nyungu Ya Maawe is based on the theme song, Ensi Egi Teyine Shonga by Pius Bakeebwa.
