Gayaza gets 100% pass in Div. One

GAYAZA High School and Mt. St. Mary’s College Namagunga registered a 100% pass in Division One in the 2005 O’level exams.

GAYAZA High School and Mt. St. Mary’s College Namagunga registered a 100% pass in Division One in the 2005 O’level exams. Although Gayaza did not register any candidate among the top 10 in Wakiso district, all its 171 candidates passed in Division One.
Namagunga, which produced eight of the 11 top students in Mukono district, also had all its 135 candidates passing in Division One. Other schools with over 150 candidates that performed well included Uganda Martyrs’ SS Namugongo, where 178 of the 180 candidates passed in Division One and only two in Division Two. Namugongo also had three students among the top 10 in Wakiso.
At Nabisunsa Girls’ School, 208 of the 211 candidates passed in division one and the rest in Division Two. Nabisunsa had two students among the best in Kampala. King’s College Budo, which also produced the top student in Wakiso, had 182 of the 190 candidates in Division One and the rest in Division Two.
The up-coming St. Mary’s College Kitende registered 275 candidates in Division One. Mulindwa also heads FUFA, the soccer governing body.
