JAMES Mayanja has replaced Andrew Patrick Luwandagga as chairman of the Uganda Olympic Committee Media Commission.
UOC president Maj.Gen Francis Nyangweso gave the WBS TV sports editor the mandate to head the commission for a one-year term, as required by the new constitution.
Maj.Gen Francis Nyangweso has rubbished claims by some Ugandans in Norway that UOC has denied them a chance to represent the country in the Winter Games in Italy next month. He said: “Uganda does not have a ski federation. How can we be represented in such a sport?â€
