DAVID Tabaro is to lead 15 Ugandan darts players for the Tanzanian Open this weekend.
The Chills & Meals ‘sniper’ has upped his game that has seen him top the ranking this year.
“I am happy to lead a small but very effective team. I have the confidence that we shall effectively represent the country in the Tanzania championship,†vowed Tabaro yesterday.
The team, that includes 2005 top seed ‘Big John’ Opio, departs today for Dar es Salaam.
Others include Chris Wabwire, Tabaro, James Taban, Juliet Katumbara, Faith Nasser and Hellen Egimu.
More players entered are from Jinja-based Nile darts club and Kakira darts clubs.
The Tanzanian meet precedes the East Africa Darts Federation (EADF) championship due in Kampala in April.
