Hima Cement will this year contribute sh7m towards the Seven-hills Run to be held on Sunday. The run is organised by the Kampala Hash House Harriers.
This is the third year in a row that Hima Cement Limited is sponsoring the run. The hills to be covered are Lubiri, Old Kampala, Nakasero, Nsambya, Namirembe, Rubaga and Kibuli.
“For us, it is not only a Hima challenge run that will help many people realise their dream of physical fitness and good health, but also one interesting way of keeping fresh the history of Kampala and the original seven hills on which it was built,” said Fred Kyaka, Hima’s marketing communications coordinator.
“The hashers are a group of expatriates, ambassadors, CEO’s, senior civil servants, business people that gather every Monday evening to run off their stress of work,” said the trial master Kampala Hash House Harriers, Jimmy Busulwa.
