Augustine Ruzindana is a total failure who needs to be punished and denied votes on February 23, parliamentary candidate for Ruhaama County in Ntungamo district Mrs. Janet Museveni has said.
“The 10 years you sent Ruzindana to Parliament were totally wasted. You never benefited at all. You were failed by your MP,†Janet said.
She said whereas counties whose MPs were active, people were developing at a higher rate and were on line with President museveni’s programme of bonna bagaggawale (prosperity for all), Ruhaama was deep in poverty.
She said once she is voted to represent Ruhaama, prosperity for all in Ruhaama would start the day after swearing in.
Janet was on Wednesday campaigning in Kizaara parish in Ntungamo sub-county.
She also addressed a rally at Katanoga in Kikoni parish.
She said Ruzindana joined the opposition as a way to escape accountability for the 10 years in Parliament.
“He realised if he stayed people would ask him to show accountability of his 10 years in parliament, what he has done for them. He sensed danger and ran before he could be asked. Shun him, don’t vote him again, and vote only Movement candidates,†the First Lady said.
