URA to ‘fly’
Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) FC officials are undecided on whether to fly to Nairobi or drive their tour-excited team there for their CAF Cup game this weekend. “We have money for either means of transport but there is a debate among officials,” manager Idris Ssesanga said.

Tumusiime in
DEFENDER Robert Tumusiime has penned a new two-year contract with former league champions SC Villa after a long period of speculation over his future. The defender was kept on the sidelines last season with an injury. “I have a new contract now and all l say is that l will play for Villa until when it runs out,” said Tumusiime.

Women on
FIVE new members and two executive board member have been elected to the International Olympic Committee. Out of the five new members, two are women; Beatrice Allen from Gambia who is also the current Vice President of the Gambia National Olympic Committee, Nicole Hoevertsz from Aruba, also Secretary General of the National Olympic Committee of Aruba.
