DEMOCRATIC Party presidential candidate John Ssebaana Kizito has said President Yoweri Museveni should explain to Ugandans what he used the privatisation money for.

“President Museveni and his Movement deliberately caused the collapse of industries in Jinja by selling them to so-called investors.

“Up to now Ugandans do not know where the money he got from factories is. He should be made to explain,” Ssebaana said.

He was on Thursday campaigning at Kazimingi grounds in Jinja town.
Ssebaana said movementists had not accounted for public assets.

“They are here to satisfy themselves and their relatives.
They don’t understand the state of affairs of this country,” he added.
He said Museveni and the Movement worshiped guns. “They have always claimed ‘twalwaana’ (we fought) as state issues get derailed.

"They abuse judges that because they fought to liberate Uganda, they invade Congo and if Ugandans complain they claim they fought. Time is up for Museveni,” he said.
