LAWRENCE Mulindwa, the director of St Mary’s Kitende, has attributed the school’s good performance to The New Vision’s Pass O’ Level pullouts among other things.

The school, off Entebbe road, had 275 of the 285 O’ Level candidates passing in Division One.

“This is a great improvement because in 2004, we had 87% of the candidates passing in division one and in 2005, we had 98 %,” said Mulindwa, who is also the Federation of Uganda Football Associations president.

“I thank The New Vision for the innovation of the examination pullouts.”

He also attributed the good performance to discipline and the God-fearing culture of the school.
He said the children are well-fed and teachers well- paid, which motivates them.

“Next year, I want 99% of the candidates passing in first grade,” Mulindwa said.
