IAN Burgess, who was until recently Sheraton Kampala Hotels’ assistant manager, is off for a weightier posting in another Sheraton conglomerate.
Burgess, who was seen off by colleagues at the hotel on Friday evening, flew out of the country on Sunday to manage 18 Sheraton Starwood hotels in Qatar, Dubai, Yemen, Pakistan, Kuwait and Oman.
He is expected to shuttle from country to country while overseeing the goings-on in the oil rich countries.
