Sonde celebrates results

Students of St Michael high school Sonde in Mukono had a dinner dance recently to celebrate the good performance of their students in last year’s UACE exams.

Students of St Michael high school Sonde in Mukono had a dinner dance recently to celebrate the good performance of their students in last year’s UACE exams.
The students danced with their director, Michael Mawanda.
A total of 153 students sat for the exams and 151 got two principle passes. Only two got subsidiary passes.
The headteacher of the school, Emmanuel Neebye, released the results to the delighted students at a party hosted for them.
The best students in Arts were Simon Kimethia offering HED/Kiswahili with 23 points and Gladys Koki who offered DEG/Kiswahili with 22 points. The best in Sciences were: Lawi Mwenda Murunga PCB/M with 20 points and John Kanuthai PEM/K with 19 points.
Mawanda attributed the success to hard work and discipline among the students.
