VETERAN journalist Caroline Lamwaka, 42 (above), has died. She passed away on Sunday morning, two weeks after she was admitted to Lacor hospital, writes James Odong
Lamwaka worked with the New Vision as a senior features writer and as the Gulu Bureau Chief. There will be a requiem mass tomorrow at St. Philips Cathedral at 10:00am followed by burial at Mican, near Gulu High school.

THE High Court has sent a 21-year-old herdsman to prison for four years after pleading guilty to defilement.
Ismail Katongole, who was 19 years at the time of committing the offence, pleaded guilty to defiling a 13-year-old-girl immediately after the charge was read to him.
