HAMIS Kitagenda’s 92nd minute strike gave KCC their fourth Super League win in six games yesterday.

Kitagenda nodded the ball in off a Hassan Wasswa free kick as the Lugogo side’s fans were beginning to leave Nakivubo stadium after a tense final ten minutes.

Nathan Mutenza gave KCC an early lead but Bunamwaya levelled matters with a Brian Kalenge own goal. Rogers Atugonza put KCC back on top after recess only for the lead to be cancelled by Dennis Mukwasi on 87 minutes.

In Masaka, Kamada Sekabira scored the all important goal in the 48 minute for hosts Masaka LC to silence Kinyara.

Congolese import John Nandwa from Rwanda’s Rayon Sport has meanwhile been signed to further boost Masaka’s attack.

At Wankulukuku, Super Cubs will wait a little longer for their first win after succumbing to a seventh straight defeat yesterday.Maji scored through centre forward Asad Makibwe.

* DAVID Kiwanuka returns to the domestic front today against high-flying Victor after leading URA to the next round of the Confederations Cup.

The veteran forward made up for a galaxy of missed chances with an instinctive effort to inspire the tax collectors to a 1-0 win for a 2-1 aggregate win over Kenya’s World Hope on Saturday.
