UBC TV, Jump TV ink deal
UGANDA Broadcasting Corporation Television has teamed up with Jump Television to broadcast its programmes in the US for Ugandans living there.

UGANDA Broadcasting Corporation Television has teamed up with Jump Television to broadcast its programmes in the US for Ugandans living there.
The New York-based Jump TV said the two entered the deal for an exclusive Internet broadcast of UBC TV’s programmes online.
“For a monthly subscription of $9.95, Jump TV subscribers all over the world can watch UBC TV’s shows on any Internet-enabled device,†said the statement.
“A new programme lineup enables Ugandans around the world to know what is going on in their country from a television station they can trust,†Edgar Tabaro, the UBC TV managing director was quoted as saying.
“As the national broadcasting station, it is our duty and obligation to ensure Ugandans everywhere stay abreast with the news and happenings of their country.â€
Kaleil Isaza Tuzman, the Jump TV president said, “Ugandans in the diaspora long to stay connected to their culture and television plays a big part.â€
