FDC president Dr. Kizza Besigye yesterday mourned his foster auntie, Justine Beinesente, who died of heart failure on Tuesday. Accompanied by friends, relatives and FDC diehards, Besigye attended the funeral service at All Saints Church, Nakasero in Kampala. He said Beinesente, his only guardian, was satisfied with what she had made of his brothers and sisters. "Unfortunately, most of my siblings are not around. My three sisters are scattered because of what has been going on, while my younger brother is in prison. But that not withstanding, she (Beinesente) has left people, who will look after themselves. I think she has retired satisfied," Besigye said. He said Beinesente was the last surviving member of his father's family. "Our parents died while we were young. My mum and dad died more than 33 years ago. We were six siblings, but she left her family, where she was married to raise us," he said.
