AGA KHAN Nursery School pre-primary children last week gave toys, clothes, sweets, biscuits, chewing gum and other goodies to their friends of Marto Nursery School in Kampala.

The gifts were part of Community Service Day visit to Marto Nursery School on Mawanda Road. Parents of Aga Khan generously donated the items.

Dressed in their school uniforms, the children spent a day telling stories and sharing jokes. They also did painting, colouring and played together. Face painting was the highlight of the day. Teachers from Aga Khan painted pictures of flowers, insects and animals on children’s left cheeks.

Musuma Mushtak, the headmistress of Aga Khan, said such events are aimed at preparing children to be long-life learners and caring citizens.
