KAMPALA — For the second day running, Joyce Ngayiza, the woman at the centre of a diplomatic row, returned to the Central Police Station (CPS) yesterday. Ngayiza, who was on Saturday arrested at Lake Victoria Windsor Hotel in Entebbe with Rwanda embassy’s first secretary John Ngarambe, went to CPS at about 9:00am. Central region CID chief Paul Katto said she was responding to her bond.

Pupil alive
FORT PORTAL — One of the pupils earlier believed to have perished in the inferno at Kabarole Islamic School has been recovered. Abbas muten-geki of P.2 had gone missing and the school administration presumed that he had died. Humphrey Kwezi, the headmaster, said the boy was taken by a relative. Town clerk Denis Mugarra yesterday said the mass burial of the other victims would take place at Bukwali cemetery.
