BATU launches new cigarette brand Dunhill

BRITISH American Tobacco Uganda (BATU) has launched an internationally- acclaimed cigarette brand, Dunhill.
At Speke Resort Munyonyo recently, BATU’s head of marketing Ernest Manyara said, “This is an exciting time for us. With the economy growing and demand for premium products picking up, our aim is to satisfy the demands of customers seeking the unique flavour of products like Dunhill.â€
Manyara said Dunhill is made from the finest blends of Virginia tobaccos, which are made from imported blend sets according to BAT Group’s guidelines.
“Dunhill is an upmarket brand popular with urban consumers who appreciate fine things and superior taste,†he said. Manyara said the retail price would be sh2,500 per packet.
