DAVIS Apuuli scored 10 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter to lift Sky Jammers to an opening 63-58 MTN basketball league victory over Knight Riders at the YMCA court on Saturday.

DAVIS Apuuli scored 10 of his 27 points in the fourth quarter to lift Sky Jammers to an opening 63-58 MTN basketball league victory over Knight Riders at the YMCA court on Saturday.
Godwin Khisa added 12 points and Hasim Sulaiman nailed 10 to give Jammers a commanding 49-33 lead early in the third quarter.
Riders’ skipper Ivan Enabu finished with 20 points including four 3-pointers but was short of clinching victory for the Knight Riders.
But despite having the better of the first half, Riders found themselves trailing by five points as Jammers stepped up a gear.
