Inzzi joins in Stanbic fun run

WORLD and Commonwealth 3000m steeplechase champion Docus Inzikuru will be among over 300 runners at the Stanbic Bank sponsored charity fun due at the International School of Uganda (ISU), Lubowa April 23.
The Bank has injected sh5.7m in the event that starts at 7am. Adults will to pay sh20,000, children 10,000 (4-17 years) and sh50,000 for family of two adults and two children pre-registered.
Inzikuru, currently training in Iten hills in Kenya, will join the run whose proceeds will benefit Mirembe and Wakisa pregnancy crisis centres for teenage girls.
This is the fourth ISU charity fun run sponsored by Stanbic Bank at the School.
According to Leslie Gray, ISU PTA secretary, 130 individuals have so far confirmed participation including 50 Stanbic Bank staff and their families.
Rashmi Nakhoda, the ISU marketing and community relations manager said prizes for winners will include a weekend for two at Volcanoes Sipi falls, T-shirts and an assortment of other prizes.
