SIR — All polling officials in Masindi district have not been paid for their services in the election exercise. <br>The money not paid includes training allowance of sh5,000 and transport of sh15,000 for every official. We are wondering what has gone wrong.

The money not paid includes training allowance of sh5,000 and transport of sh15,000 for every official. We are wondering what has gone wrong.
We were trained without being paid a training allowance and yet our appointment letters clearly indicate that we would be paid training and transport allowances.
The Electoral Commission leadership at the top might have done well in the eyes of Ugandans but a few greedy individuals are tarnishing this good image!
