Scientists should guide farmers to make correct decisions about different resources, marketing and policy regimes to enable them benefit from the livestock sector, the State Minister for Animal Husbandry has said.

Scientists should guide farmers to make correct decisions about different resources, marketing and policy regimes to enable them benefit from the livestock sector, the State Minister for Animal Husbandry has said.
Mary Mugyenyi said, “What can we do to make the animal a pathway to wealth for our people? How can we transform the animal sector into a highly-competitive industry in the region and Africa?”
Mugyenyi said this at the Project Terminal stakeholders workshop at Hotel Africana in Kampala recently.
“Government and the people need empirical evidence of comparative economic advantages of different levels of dairying intensity,’ she said.
