What do Ugandan girls want from Kenyan men?

There seems to be an influx of Kenyan men in Uganda. Many corporations in Uganda seem to have taken a preference to employing Kenyans.

Nothing wrong with that. After all, they have a lot to teach about business, administration and attitude towards work, which admittedly they are better at than the average Ugandan. So it is really no problem having them here. The problem comes when they shade off their dark suits, ties or whatever clothes they wear to work and hit Kampala’s social scene.

A true story is told of a Kenyan man; lets call him Kamau (not real name), whose job involved getting transferred to different countries. All the while, his beautiful wife would remain in Kenya where she had a good job and the children to look after. However, when Kamau was transferred to Uganda, friends advised Mrs. Kamau to quit her job, pack up her things and come to Uganda right away, which she did!

Reason? Kenyan men are known to lose control around Ugandan girls.
Out of work, the Kamaus, Njoroges and Otienos (not real names) develop such smooth tongues and flexible hands that quickly curve their ways around young Ugandan dudettes’ waists.

At serious corporate functions where they have to bring their wives, they will stand boldly and proudly heap words of praise onto the “beautiful woman who has made me what I am today.” They will go on and on about how wonderful their wives are and yada yada yada, you would think they are always home by 6:00pm to reward her efforts. But the moment Mrs Njoroge goes home to tuck in the kids, leaving him behind to “discuss some business with the other guys”, the smooth tongues get rolling and as do the agile hands. There is no curfew for the energetic bimbettes, so they can stay up late with the guys, while wifey sleeps away at home.

Like birds flapping all over each other, so are the detoothing girls and their Kenyan companions.

Once I went to Rhino Bar at the Sheraton, which seems to have an attraction for Kenyan men. In a corner,
I met two girls I had known at university (they were of course younger and more immature than I am). They had been waiting forever and were trying to keep from finishing the single drink they had bought while waiting. I asked whom they were waiting for. “Some Kenyan friends of ours,” they said. Ha ha ha, I went in my heart, because I knew the men they were waiting for were probably in the same place flirting with other girls.

I was right, because a while later, the same men I had seen all over some younglings, joined them and their hands quickly found their ways around the girls’ waists. I smiled in my heart and gave the guys an “I know what you did last summer” look and of course they returned with “Yeah, you know, so keep your big mouth shut!”

Unlike Ugandan men who hide away their wedding rings when they want to play the game, the Kenyan men keep their rings on and that seems to attract even more swarms of girls. They have learnt that for Ugandans, stolen goods are sweeter. Then there is the bunch that left their wives back at home in Kenya or elsewhere on the globe.

They have no fear of going back home to a mingling stick waiting to squeeze explanations out of him, so they are free to mingle. This type will receive a phone call from wifey all the way from Kenya and talk to her lovingly, while their other hand is rubbing the waist of a university youngling as she waits patiently for wifey to hang up.

One Kenyan man, whose wife lives in Kenya admitted that he has “mistresses” to keep him company while he is in Uganda. He gives them what they want and they do the needful. However, a male Kenyan friend of mine says that it is the Ugandan girls who are “fast”.

Apparently, Ugandan girls fancy Kenyan men and will throw themselves all over them. And being guys, a little fun when it is available doesn’t hurt. After all, Ugandan girls have an international reputation for their prowess behind closed doors.

What do the Ugandan girls want from Kenyan men? When circumstances change, we must adjust to the change. When the Ugandan men learnt the art of dodging detootheres, the detoothers changed target to the Kenyan men.

“These Kenyan men don’t mind being detoothed, as long as they get what they want. They have a lot of money and they love to floss it,” said one of my girl friends.

So should we say all is fair in love and war? The Kenyan man gets hot Ugandan sex; Ugandan girl gets hot Kenyan shillings or dollars and what Mrs. Njoroge doesn’t know doesn’t hurt Mrs. Njoroge.

Pity goes to the Ugandan girls who expect marriage or long-term relationships from the Kenyan men. I hate to say this, babes, but it is a wild dream that will never come true!
