AFTER the completion of the regional championships in all the Friends of Football (FOF) zones, the teams converge at Lugogo grounds this weekend for the two-day Champions league on May 13-14. The matches start at 8am each day.

AFTER the completion of the regional championships in all the Friends of Football (FOF) zones, the teams converge at Lugogo grounds this weekend for the two-day Champions league on May 13-14. The matches start at 8am each day.
Shell (U) Limited are fully sponsoring the nationwide event organised by FOF.
Eight teams, representing the different regions will line up for the trophy. These include West Nile, Elgon, Nile, East Buganda, Central, South Buganda, Western and Bunyoro Kitara.
Each team will constitute 18 players who have already gone through a verification exercise, and two officials. FOF regional coordinators will lead the teams to Lugogo.
All expenses including transport to and from Lugogo, accommodation, meals and refreshments, officials’ (including referees) allowances, medical and prizes will be met by the sponsors.
The best performers at the tournament will be rewarded.
