OUTGOING Katikamu North MP Maj. James Kinobe has said his ghost is haunting whoever wronged him, including outgoing Luweero chairman, Alhajj Abdul Nadduli, who also lost his chair.
“Some people thought Kinobe was dead. But my ghost is haunting whoever wronged me,†Kinobe (below) said during a party organised recently in Luweero to thank him for 10 years of service.
Nadduli and a faction of NRM supporters loyal to him, including Katikamu-North MP-elect Abraham Byandaala, did not attend, although they were invited.
A beaming Kinobe who was flanked by his wife Maria, said Nadduli, who lost to Ronald Ndawula, was Luweero’s enemy.
“In military language we call such elements (Nadduli) kipinga kya ndaani (enemy within).â€
Kinobe said he was leaving the Katikamu MP seat a happy man because he had left behind a new breed of politicians who would carry on his crusade against corruption.
He said he resisted calls to stand after losing the party primaries, but would not hesitate to do so in 2011 if Byandaala does not adequately represent the constituency.
