THE National Fellowship of Born Again Pentecostal Churches of Uganda (NFBPCU) has disowned Prophet Samuel Kakande and Pastor Moses solomon Male, saying they are not among its members.
Kakande heads the Synagogue Church at Kubiri on Gayaza road, while Male runs Arising for Christ Church.
The churches have of late been embroiled in a controversy with some pastors accusing their colleagues of witchcraft.
The controversy started about a month ago when Male, through several radio talk-shows and press interviews, accused some of his colleagues of engaging in witchcraft.
NFBPCU spokesperson Pastor Daniel Nkata said over the weekend Kakande and Male’s churches were not members of the fellowship.
He described Kakande and Male’s churches as cults.
“We know them as cults. We don’t agree with their practices and that is why they are not part of us,†Nkata said.
