GOVERNMENT is committed to helping Cranes get a new coach if Tomislave Sivic does not return.

“We are with you and the rest of other stakeholders. We will join hands to see that football develops and shall do everything to see that Uganda gets a coach in time,” National Council of Sports general secretary Jasper Aligawesa said yesterday soon after launching a FIFA funded workshop for FUFA’s executive in Kampala.

FIFA regional goal project coordinator Ashford Mamelodi and Nicos Kartakoullis (above), a FIFA instructor from Cyprus, are conducting the workshop.

“You are a strong team and there is no reason why you should fail. Leadership demands teamwork,” Mamelodi told FUFA’s executive assembled at Lindsay Cottages, Lubowa.
