THE Brtish High commissioner, Francois Gordon, has lauded Always Be Tolerant organisation (ABETO) for mobilising the masses to practise politics of tolerance and reconciliation in this period of transition into multipartyism.

ABETO has been advocating respect, tolerance and reconciliation.

Recently, a copy of the ABETO flag was handed over to the commissioner at his office in Kamwokya by the ABETO chairman, Moses Musana.

The NGO seeks to have its flag as the unifying symbol of the different political groupings in the 8th parliament.

Gordon said, “We expect the 8th Parliament to be a hot one because of the different political parties, so we want to ensure that we have a peaceful Parliament, where there is no conflict and violence.

Musana said the flag, which had been seen by the Chief justice, will be taken to the President before it is introduced to the 8th Parliament.
