SIMON Ayiekho and Justine Bayiga have left for IAAF permit meets in Sudan and Ethiopia, writes Norman Katende.
Ayiekho, 1500m winner in four national trials and Bayiga left Monday for a meet in Sudan Thursday and Ethiopia on Sunday.
The KIU students are preparing for the Africa University Games and the Africa senior championship due in South Africa and Mauritius respectively.
Meanwhile, Boniface Kiprop is among 13 stars set for the Norwich Union British Grand Prix in Gateshead June 17 — a leg of the IAAF World Athletics Tour.
