UNSEEDED Edwin Ekiring advanced to the quarter-final of the Club Squash Open after upsetting Robbins Mwehairwe in day three of the action.

UNSEEDED Edwin Ekiring advanced to the quarter-final of the Club Squash Open after upsetting Robbins Mwehairwe in day three of the action.
The top badminton star, who is trying his hand at squash, was a 3-1 winner over seed 5 Mwehairwe while top seed Bill Hickling was a straight sets winner over Michael Kawooya.
Another upset saw unseeded Julius Musimenta beat seed 8 Coutts Muhenda (3-2) in the tournament sponsored by Nile Breweries under their Club Beer brand and The New Vision.
The semi-finals are tonight and the final of the men and women contests is set for tomorrow night.
