CBS 10TH ANNIVERSARY SHOW IS THIS SUNDAY
The annual concert organised by CBS FM will take place on Sunday at Nakivubo Stadium starting 8:00am. The show dubbed ‘Ekitoobero Kujaagaana,’ is also one of the activities to mark the radio’s 10th anniversary. Football matches between supporters of Arsenal and Manchester United, and Chelsea and Liverpool will precede the show. There will also be raffle draws, where people will win phones, TV sets and radios. Entry fee is sh5,000.
KIGGUNDU, NAYIGA IN FLUTE AND SONG RECITAL
Kampala Music School (KMS) concert-artistes will stage a classical show at the Netherlands Embassy residence in Kololo on Sunday at 4:30pm. The recital will feature Fred Kiggundu and Soprano Betty Nayiga. Entry fee will be sh10,000. Proceeds will help defray the cost of KMS students’ exams.
REGGAE CONCERT AT KABALAGALA
Reggae artistes will perform at Half London in Kabalagala tomorrow starting at 5:00pm. The show is dubbed ‘Martyrs’ Day Reggae Explosion’.
GOSPEL GROOVERS TO ROCK NAMUGONGO
Father Anthony Musaala and his musical group, the Gospel Groovers, will perform at Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine tonight at 6:00pm. The concert is intended to entertain foreign pilgrims that are in the country for the Martyrs’ Day celebrations tomorrow.
EAGLES PRODUCTION IN MARTYRS’ DAY CONCERT
The Eagles Production will stage a concert at Ridars Hotel in Seeta tomorrow starting 7:00pm. The show dubbed, ‘The Big Spender’ is intended to congratulate theirs fans on their successful completion of the Martyrs’ Day celebrations.
PAM AWARD WINNERS TO PERFORM IN JINJA
Last year’s PAM Award winning artistes will perform during the Jinja PAM Awards (2006) launch at Crested Crane Hotel on Saturday starting at 7:00pm. Bebe Cool, Bobie Wine, Juliana Kanyomozi, Sweet Kid and Gen. Mega Dee are among the artistes that will perform.
