Church helps FORT PORTAL — The Bethral Church and Assembly of God Ministries of USA and Canada has donated clothes worth sh2m to orphans in the Rwenzori region. Pastor Terry Burns delivered the items on Friday at Ebenezer Church, Fort Portal town. Pastor Trisha Gibbs and Bishop Mike Garychunck accompanied him.

Bricks sold KABALE — Traders in Katuna border town have started exporting bricks to Rwanda. Kamuganguzi LC3 chairperson Denis Nzeirwe said over five trucks go through Katuna every week. He said the trade started a few months ago following a ban on felling trees in Rwanda.

Huts burnt MUKONO — The Police in nairambi sub-county are hunting for three men who set nine huts on fire at nairambi fishing camp. The area security officer, Jacob Wasswa, said the arsonists burnt the huts on Thursday night.
